"Swift gift" tripped me up. The answer is SATIRE. Nice. It took a while for "Shooter's target" to make sense to me. It's been a long time since I played marbles so AGATE didn't quickly come to mind. Similarly, "Lights" turned out to be SETS FIRE TO but only after lots of head scratching. SPERM made its seventh appearance in my database. Before 2007 it was always a type of whale, but last year Will admitted it might be a kind of bank and this puzzle brings to life its job of uniting with OVA. I loved the clue "It's sour" for FLAT NOTE. Lynn contributed to the ever-growing popularity of ERA. No other answer word is as popular in the database.
I still don't get why "Not fair" is WET. Any theories? Ah, I just got it as I was typing it in. It's a weather clue. Rat bastards. :)
