I timed myself on the Monday puzzle (answers), something I had more or less given up on after I started reading the Orange blog. I'm proud to say I was well under the time it would take Amy to do the puzzle twice. It's good for the soul to be humbled now and then. If that's true, I must have a great soul.
I spent the weekend working on a project so once again I'll leave the complete analysis to the bloggers who do it best, but I feel compelled to point out that today is a landmark day for Nabisco lovers everywhere. It's the 150th entry in my database of that staple of the crossword diet, OREO. In the general foodstuffs category, only ALE beats it. Ale will be celebrating its bicentennial mark real soon now. Remember, the data only goes back to 1996.
